after you foam roll I usually have my clients stretch . Its very important to stretch your hips and get your body ready to work. Foam rolling loosened everything up and got rid of some knots that can effect your basic glutes activating exercises if not done properly . We get nice and loose and stretch everything out to promote a proper length strength relationship in order to get that long lean muscle instead of short bulky muscle. These stretches shown above in the video will also engage more of your glutes and open your hamstrings to get everything ready to work.
