Cinnamon Crunch French Toast



2 Slices of cinnamon Ezekiel bread (may substitute with rice bread or hemp bread)6 Egg whites

1 Scoop of Vanilla Infinite Pro Whey Protein

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Baking powder

1/8 tsp Salt

6 Pecan halves

Agave nectar for drizzling


In a shaker container mix egg whites, protein, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Shake until ingredients are well incorporated. Pour liquid into a large dish or bowl. Soak bread slices in liquid on each side. Be sure to let bread sit long enough to absorb all the liquid. Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat. Spray with non-stick spray just before placing bread slices on skillet. Cook on each side until golden brown. Arrange cinnamon toast on plate and sprinkle crushed pecans on top. Drizzle agave nectar over top. You may also sift a little Vanilla Infinite Pro Whey Protein on top like “powdered sugar!”Yield: 1 (310 cal, 4g fat, 32g carbs, 8g fiber, 60g protein)
